Thank you for visiting HouseLynx Maine Coons. We are dedicated to raising and pairing elite, European Maine Coon kittens with families throughout Louisiana, Texas and the Gulf Coast.

Our foundation is rooted in service, discipline, and a deep love for this magnificent breed. We are a proud Coast Guard family—my husband is currently on active duty, and I am a USCG veteran. You might wonder how a background in military operations leads to elite cat breeding.

For us, it was fate! After a rewarding tour performing maritime search and rescue operations, I was transferred to the Coast Guard Pay and Personnel Center. That pivotal move changed everything; it is where I met my husband and where I welcomed my very first Maine Coons, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Eventually, I transitioned out of the military to focus on what matters most: raising our son, Huck, and dedicating myself entirely to our exceptional Maine Coons. These days, I spend my time working as a full-time toddler and cat wrangler—a different kind of search and rescue altogether!

As an active-duty military family, relocation is a natural part of our lives, and we are thrilled to have recently moved our cattery to our beautiful new home base in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

All of our Kings, Queens, and litters are born and affectionately raised right here on our private, spacious Southern estate, where they receive round-the-clock family socialization and comprehensive veterinary care. From our new Louisiana headquarters, we are honored to serve families across the New Orleans area, Houston, and the greater Gulf Coast region.

Because good breeders are hard to find, many of our kittens travel out of state. We maintain a strict White-Glove Cabin Transit policy. We never cargo-ship our kittens. Whether your kitten is staying local to the Gulf Coast or traveling to our dedicated Pacific Northwest division managed by my mother, they are hand-delivered directly in the airplane cabin with one of us personally, ensuring a safe, temperature-controlled, and stress-free journey from our nursery to your arms.”

extensive health testing

All our cats are very beautiful and have lovely temperaments, but the most important aspect of breeding is the health of the parents and their offspring. Producing healthy kittens that will bring their families a lifetime of joy is our main focus. All our breeding cats receive echocardiograms to screen for HCM, hips are x-rayed to check for hip dysplasia, and their DNA is screened for over 40 congenital diseases.
